On my visit there were 5 guests in total. At first we're simultaneously served an omakase of 12 nigiri and then tamagoyaki. A menu is available, and it's bilingual. Some items will be generically listed as "kobujime mono" or "hikarimono" but the chef will specifically name what he serves. After the omakase, in the time which remains, you can order up to five nigiri at a time, from the selection of twelve you just ate, by marking your choices on the menu. As I mentioned, some items have generic names so if you mark hikarimono you might be served aji again, or it might be katsuo, or it might be saba. Mark kobujime mono and you might be served kisu, instead of the hirame you ate first time. The omakase takes about 50 minutes to be served while last orders are taken at 80 minutes. Extra orders are batched and taken simultaneously from each guest, so you basically have to eat at the same pace as everyone else.
The hikarimono were very good for a restaurant at this price point with no odour. The ika and hotate were also good. The tuna was not great and the toro was served way too cold. Rice is quite al dente and very mildly sour. The nigiri were small.
I gave up after 65 minutes and 10 extra nigiri. Nothing else I wanted to eat and the restaurant was freezing cold. Overall, not nearly as good as Shiogama and I won't be back.
