A restaurant I would probably have never gone to, except that since August 2025 they've been running a JPY 8,800 all-you-can-eat course.

The meal begins with a small appetizer and then seven nigiri.  From then on, for up to an hour, you can order up to three nigiri at a time from the menu by writing down your choices and handing the note to the chef.  The menu is in Japanese but you can write in English.

Normally I avoid all you can eat sushi as the quality is just too poor.  But as you would hope from a restaurant where dinner courses start at JPY 14,800 everything was pretty decent, including, very importantly, the rice, which is seasoned with red vinegar.  The neta is cut rather thin but quite large - the kind where the ends touch the plate rather than barely covering the rice, which is the modern trend.  The highlight on visit #1 was the uni.  Alum-free mursasaki uni in its shell.  A relatively small portion and served as a gunkan-maki so it didn't gonna blow your socks off like Daisen.  But I've had worse uni more often than I care to remember in restaurants charging multiples of this and fresh kara-tsuki uni is very rare in Tokyo.  No such luck on visit #2.  Other than the AYCE the selling point is the tuna.  It's not the best quality maguro but the zuke is very good and was the best of all the neta on visit #2.  They seemed to be skimping on the otoro on this visit.  The anago was excellent on both visits.  There's often something unusual on the menu, like shiira, which I don't remember ever having before.  Two chefs serve up to ten diners.  The taisho is genial and encourages you to order more.  You're required to order a drink.  If you ask for water you'll get bottomless Fuji for 500 yen.

Reservations for October will be taken via Tabelog from 8pm on Saturday 20th September.  Apparently all seats for September were booked within one minute of them being released in August.  They announce the release date for the following month's reservations on their Instagram.  Probably the best all-you-can-eat sushi in Tokyo.
