Bistro Nemot
⭐⭐⭐
๐ซ๐ท French Bistro / ๐ Hiroo

Bistro Nemot's owner/chef previously worked at L'Effervescence, which in 2020, was upgraded to 3 Michelin Stars a few months after Nemot opened. Don't expect the imaginative and elaborate cooking found there as it's strictly classic French bistro dishes on the menu here. The restaurant is on the second floor of Eat Play Works in Hiroo. There's a mix of counter and table seats. Everything is a-la-carte and there's no course menu. Staff can speak English and there's an English menu, pictured below.
I chose the salmon en croute and guinea fowl confit (pictured below) and neither was particularly special.
The best way to enjoy Bistro Nemot would probably be as most bistros in Japan are intended: with a companion, sharing a range of dishes and drinking lots of wine. If you were expecting (perhaps from the award of a Bib Gourmand in the 2022 Tokyo Michelin Guide) exceptional bistro food then you're likely to leave disappointed. For that there are better choices.๐ https://tabelog.com/tokyo/A1307/A130703/13248994/

๐ฑ Booking: ๐ฉ Easy. Book via Tabelog or TableCheck a day in advance or via phone for same-day or advance bookings. Providing it's not 7pm Friday/Saturday night you'll likely be able to get a seat if you just walk in.
