srecette operates on an irregular basis and the only thing on the menu is a "parfait" dessert, its composition never repeated. You're required to order from a choice of teas at 750-1000 yen each. You can also order macarons, at 3-400 yen a piece, either to eat-in or take-away. The restaurant seats seven: everyone is a lone diner and we all wait and eat in silence. It's a "one operation" restaurant: after the chef has made and served all the teas, taken the macaron orders and made the parfaits to order, 33 minutes after the reservation time the parfait drops. The chef doesn't describe the layers of the dessert so you're left to ask (or guess).
Sakura ice-cream, white fig, lime jelly, cardamom cream, mascarpone, tonka, tea panna cotta. Olive oil served on the side so you can mix it up. It's good, but is it better than a coffee and cake of your choice from your local patisserie and an hour of Netflix? No.

❓ My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐ 3.8
๐ฑ Booking: ๐ฅ Perhaps the most elusive parfait reservation in Tokyo. Wait for an announcement on the chef's Instagram, book via TableCheck and be quick.
