The second tempura-only offshoot of Tempura Yokota opening four months after the Ginza location (review here).  Dinner courses are slightly cheaper starting at JPY 11,000.  Lunch courses are priced identically to the Ginza branch but have a slightly different content, which is summarized below.

All courses include sakizuke, chawamushi, a small kakigedon and miso soup.  On my visit I chose the cheapest lunch.

Sakizuke was unremarkable.

Unlike the Ginza location, even at the counter, with the cheapest lunch all tempura were served at once.

The set comprised: 1 shrimp, madai, kisu, kabocha, renkon, nasu, beni imo, young corn.  The shrimp had the quality of frozen fish, as with the Ginza branch, but I don't have any complaint about the other tempura at this price.

Chawamushi: hardly subtle in flavour, strangely served after the tempura (especially as it was chilled) but large. 

The kakikagedon was very small and underwhelming and the rice was stewed but the flavour from the kakikagedon was good.

For two diners or more you may be seated in one of the private rooms but if (and only if) you're at the counter and order a more expensive course the tempura will be served omakase-style.  For lunch I didn't mind the tempura being served all at once and it certainly made the meal finish more quickly.

There were fewer faults with the tempura compared with in my meal at the Ginza location, though there was a lot less tempura.  For a quick and cheap tempura lunch in Ebisu it's decent.  No view unless you're in a private room.

📱 Booking: 🟩 You can book via Tabelog but if you're dining alone or you want to book the counter you can't book the 3.5k lunch and must reserve a more expensive course, otherwise you can book by phone.  Walk-ins are possible but they are sometimes fully booked.  The 3.5k lunch is available on weekdays only.
