The restaurant opened last week and has a time-limited opening offer of JPY 1,000 off the normally JPY 3,000 omakase course.  It looks and sounds great but unfortunately everything was very standard.  The rice and miso soup were very average, as was the cabbage, which was water-logged.  Most disappointingly of all, the tonkatsu was average.  My course comprised soto-momo, rosu and filet.  In theory it's great to be able to taste three different cuts in one meal but it all just tasted like sagenton, soto-momo is a poor cut and the panko was standard as well.  The set comes with a small curry which was (you've guessed it) quite average too.  Cabbage and rice are refilled for free.  Pictures are on Tabelog if you need them but they look better than the food tasted, so not wasting any more bandwidth here.

There were a couple of minutes wait to be seated.  They batch orders so, in my case, the first item of tonkatsu took about 20 minutes to be served.

The opening offer ends this week so go quickly if you want to take advantage, but I can't actually recommend it.
