At lunch you can choose between tokusei tendon (JPY 2,200), kakiagedon (JPY 2,300), anago tendon (JPY 2,300) or tenbara (JPY 2,300) or one of three courses priced between JPY 4,400 and 9,900.  At dinner there's a choice of three courses priced between JPY 9,900 and JPY 16,500.  Prices are inclusive.  There's no English menu and no English spoken.

I arrived at 12:45 on a weekday lunchtime and there were still a couple of seats free at the 8-seat counter.  I chose anago tendon.  Food arrived after about 5 minutes.

The skin on the anago was very thick and the tempura had an unpleasant, greasy taste.  Rice was so badly over-steamed I had to leave quite a lot (I'm not sure how they managed this).  Easily the worst tendon I can remember eating and expensive.  You'd be more satisfied if you went to Tenya - you'd know exactly what to expect, it'd be a fraction of the price and not much different in taste.

A sister restaurant operates in Nihombashi so avoid that one as well.
